LeviOn May 1st, KCA students took a trip to Clover Hill Farms in Wallkill, NY. The farms is owned and operated by Marcy Brenna, sister to Ms. Prohaska who teaches cosmetology at KCA. Ms. Pro (as the students call her) and Dr. Vasilevsky planned the day trip to enhance the life science curriculum. Students and staff were able to get up close and personal with many of the animals who call the farm home. Quran Robinson stated, "I enjoyed the trip. Being outdoors was fun and we saw different animals including, horses, pigs, goats, chickens, cows, alpacas, llamas, camels, guinea fowl and peacocks." Cassi said, "The goats were very gentle and I liked the fact that they we were able to pet them." It was a great trip. Students look forward to returning soon to go horseback riding.
