Students enjoyed finding their art work at the District's Art show! Congratulations to all the students!





The Unified Basketball Team defeated Mamaroneck yesterday in their last game of the year. The team was able to finish the season undefeated! Thank you to all the coaches and fans that supported these student-athletes during the year.



Kaplan is very excited to be participating in our district's art show! The student's have worked so hard and it shows on the beautiful displays! Great Job Art Students! I am so proud!!!!





Kaplan staff and students celebrated Spirit Week this month. It was great to see everyone showing their school pride and participating in the daily events. Here are some pictures from Spirit Week!





The Car Wash Fundraiser event is happening today! Come down and get your car washed to help support our seniors!




Kaplan will be hosting a dinner event for Seniors on June 9th at La Casa Vicina in New Windsor. The dinner event will start at 4pm. Payment is due by May 26 to Mrs. Virgadamo, if you have any questions feel free to contact her.

The Senior Committee is hosting a few events that are coming up soon... Senior Bake Sale on Friday, May 13th during periods 5 and 6 in the cafeteria. Student Car Wash Fundraiser will also be on Friday, May 13th.

Just a friendly reminder...today is the Mother's Day Plant Sale hosted by The Kindness Act during lunch periods. Feel free to stop by and show support!

The Kindness Act will be having a plant sale on May 4th and May 5th during lunch periods. Succulents and Spider Plants are $5 each. A small assortment of herbs and flowers will also be available for $3 and $2. Makes a great gift for Mother's Day!


A fun competition last week in Physics! And the winners were Diamond in 2nd period and Malcolm in 5th period! Their plastic straw bridges supported the most weight. Way to go!



The elementary students enjoyed building their garden and filling it with yummy veggies that we will grow and enjoy. The students also took the time to paint their own bird houses that we will place outside with bird food now that the weather is warmer!

As a part of celebrating Women's History Month, our students and staff hosted a Women's Tea Party to empower, inspire and share with one another. There were poetry readings and an awards ceremony coupled with fresh pastries and hot tea for all to enjoy!





Transition students had a great experience at the Local Union 825 tour in New Hampton, NY. Students were able to operate construction vehicles through a simulator and had a chance to even operate an excavator! Check out more pictures and video on the Transition/CDOS page.



Clay and smiles are just spinning in the art room! We got out our kick power potter's wheel [it is a manual wheel] and the kids have been having a blast with it! We are working our muscles and flexing our skills, creatively!
